Our Beaches
We are blessed to have some of the most scenic beaches in the world here on the central coast.
With nearly 100 miles of gorgeous coast line you are sure to find a beach for that perfect sunset,
beach combing, surfing or to simply sit and contemplate the beauty around you.
For your safety please be aware of the dangers of the ocean.
Our waters are cold. The average surface temperature is 54 F.
Even well protected water babies should be aware of the cold water
and unpredictable surf conditions as well as heed the dangers of climbing on coastal rocks.
Always keep your eye on small children and the ocean!
With these simple pre cautions and respect for the ocean and its living surroundings you will find that the enchantment of the ocean will beckon to you long after your return home.
